Assistance with Activities of Daily Living and Resident Behavior and Needs

Assistance with Activities of Daily Living & Resident Behavior and Needs training is required by all Staff who provide direct care to residents who have not taken the core training program. Direct care staff shall receive a minimum of 3 hour in-service training within 30 days of employment that covers this subject.

This course satisfies the above stated requirement of direct care staff training.  This course also applies toward the 12 hour continuing education requirement for Assisted Living Facility (ALF) and Adult Family Care Home managers/administrators if it was not previously taken.  This credit does not apply to any other license’s continuing education requirements.
